We are the proud descendants of Joe and Sylvia Ramsey (married circa. 1851).
They are the parents of Marlo, Sarah, and James.
Marlo changed his name to William Camp. In 1922, “Will” and his wife Curry migrated to Washington, D.C. Their marriage was blessed with eleven children: Gyden, Gaither, Willie, James, Beatrice, Jeannette, Elsie, T.S., Hayward, Raymond, and Alvin.
Sarah married Albert Long and they are the parents of Aida, Ida, and Dora.
(FYI: Dora is the mother of St.Elmo, Jr., Alverdus, and Jephranel Hillyer Settles.)
James married Willie Frances Johnson and they traveled from Gainsville, Georgia to Cincinnati, Ohio with their five children: Joe, Moeno (Mary), Harrison, James Henry, and Nora.
